Easter Dresses For Women That Are Pretty & Practical At The Same Time

Easter dresses for women

Easter is only a few days away, and it’s about that time when I start looking through my closet to see what I have to wear. Easter is a unique holiday in which you should dress a little fancier than usual – perhaps something appropriate for church, if you go – but something also functional so you can dye eggs and participate in egg hunts. Let’s take a look at my favorite Easter dresses for women that are pretty, practical and proper all at once.

Summer Plaid Square Neck

I don’t know if this is a universal experience, but for me, Easter has a lot of running around, bending and moving. While I am an adult, I have a ton of little cousins and I absolutely love being in charge of the egg hunt. In order to be the master of egg hiding, you have to be able to bend down, reach up high, run around and squat all day. So, you’ll need an outfit that can accommodate those movements in an appropriate way. To do this, I usually pick out a long dress! I love this one because nothing says spring like a nice picnic gingham pattern!

Wide Leg Jumpsuit

Once again, functionality is important!! While it’s not technically a dress, I’m obsessed with these wide legs jumpsuits and all of the gorgeous colors they come in! Easter, being a spring holiday, is one of the best times to break out some color! Try pastels, fun bright neons and patterned outfits! Jumpsuits are also a lot of fun because you can put just about any top underneath them to layer. You can pair it with a sweater if it’s cold, a T-Shirt if it’s warm and play around with fun colors and matching!

Casual Boho Dress

If you’re going to a family event, a church event or hanging out with a new family you’ve yet to meet (aka the perfect in-law holiday), this dress is perfect. Honestly, I love how much coverage this dress gives you while still being really chic and cute! You don’t have to dress like a grandma to be modest! I also love the puff sleeves on this dress! It’s so springy and cute!

Summer A-Line Midi Dress

Much like the “Nap Dress” we’re all obsessed with, this silhouette is perfect! I’m also obsessed with the pattern and colors offered in this listing! With a bit of a lacey pattern, there’s a baby blue, dark green, yellow, maroon, white, red, navy blue and black! Something about the ruffle sleeve screams springtime and Easter eggs to me!

Bunny Dress

OK! OK! Hear me out! Some of these patterns are horribly ugly, while the other ones are actually kinda cute! I know it can be incredibly corny to actually dress up for the holiday but it’s also kinda camp, in the best way possible. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with compiling holiday-themed wardrobe pieces. It’s so fun! I have a Halloween sweater, Valentine’s Day cardigan, a Christmas turtleneck… Will a bunny Easter dress be next? Don’t tempt me.

Sleeveless Maxi Dress

Ok, one more super cute option! If you’re more of a fan of a maxi than a midi, this is a perfect option! I love the tie neck on this one and it’s sleeveless, which is great if it’s warm where you live! There are some gorgeous color options, along with some really fun floral patterns! There are also two bottoms, so make sure you take a look at them before your order! One has a scalloped bottom and the other has a straight bottom!
