This past Saturday, Harry Styles took his final bow in Reggio Emilia, Italy. “Love on Tour,” the singer’s second solo concert tour, started in September of 2021, lasting nearly two years until its conclusion on July 22, 2023. The length of Style’s tour was long enough that he was able to drop his third studio album “Harry’s House” in between shows! Many fans have taken to social media recently, expressing their sorrow about the tour’s conclusion and gratitude for the memories they’ve made. It’s always difficult to witness the end of an era, even if we can all agree that Harry is in need of some well-deserved rest! If you find yourself experiencing post-tour depression, you’re in good company. Here are some of Harry Styles’ “Love on Tour” best moments.

The Outfits

Whether we’re talking about the fans in attendance or Harry himself, there was never a dull moment when it came to fashion. Harry was never the most adherent to stereotypical male fashion standards in the past, and while the release of his second album “Fine Line” solidified his more eccentric sense of style, “Love on Tour” took it to the next level. Every show saw the singer sporting bright colors and bold patterns, oftentimes with a sparkly element of some kind. His clothing choices conveyed themes of fun, love and acceptance throughout the tour – just as its title did. Fans picked up on these themes almost instantly, immediately matching Harry’s energy. Going to a Harry Styles show was no longer just a concert, but a fashion event as well. Practically everyone in attendance wore bright colors, flowy garments, funky patterns and wild accessories – not to mention feather boas. Not a single show was safe from layers of feathers that coated the floor at the end of each night.

Harryween

While we’re on the topic of fashion, it’s only right that we mention Harryween! The tradition began on October 30 and 31 of 2021, on which Harry dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and a clown, respectively. The shows were previously advertised as a “fancy dress party,” so naturally, Harry wouldn’t disappoint. The band also did their part, and in addition to Harry’s costumes, each member also dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters on night one and sported clown outfits on night two. In 2022, Styles took things up a notch, dressing up as Danny Zuko from Grease. Once again, the band followed suit, wearing Pink Ladies jackets, bowties and hair curlers in their own Grease-inspired costumes. In a further effort to keep the Grease theme alive, Harry performed a rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” which was originally sung in the film by Olivia Newton-John.

Fan Interactions

This is definitely the broadest category to cover because of the sheer amount of instances I could mention! During the 22 months that “Love on Tour” lasted, Harry has been involved in countless gender reveals, proposals and other general conversations with fans. Here are the most memorable:

  • Harry unknowingly helping a fan ask out Lloyd Wakefield, the concert photographer
  • The attendance of tiktoker Chris Olsen and Harry seeing his sign that he made
  • Harry calling and facetiming fans while onstage
  • Harry passing the mic to a fan, allowing him to propose to his girlfriend
  • Celebrating Pride! Harry has danced with Pride flags and helped fans who ask to come out to their loved ones. In one instance, he’s even resorted to covering an unfortunate rip in his pants with a Pride flag.

This list hardly scratches the surface of everything “Love on Tour” was composed of, but it should definitely remind you of everything the show stood for. In a final effort to encapsulate the gratitude he feels, Harry performed an instrumental that he composed and dedicated to his fans on his last night. There has been some debate about whether it could be a snippet from a potential fourth album or not, but either way, the fans are just happy to know their love and appreciation is reciprocated.
