With Black Friday and Cyber Monday passing by, we know the time has begun to start buying Christmas presents. But buying gifts for your friends and family can be tricky, especially if you want to surprise them rather than just outright asking them what they want. And if you have a fantasy book lover in your life, buying a surprise book for them without asking can be difficult, and with how vast the genre is, these book connoisseurs can be pretty picky. So, as an avid reader myself and lover of fantasy, I’ve rounded up several gifts for fantasy lovers to help you this holiday season!
Dagger Letter Opener
Who doesn’t love getting a letter in the mail? And instead of them having to grab some scissors or a pocket knife to open up a package, try getting them a dagger letter opener. You can get them a personalized one with their name on it or just a regular intricate one that I’m sure they’ll love.
Jewelry
You can never go wrong with getting that book lover some fantasy jewelry. Anything with gemstones, fairies, flowers, dragons, etc., they’ll absolutely adore it. The options are really limitless, but I’ve added several good options to pick from.
Dragon Jellycat
In my humble opinion, I don’t think anyone is ever too old for a stuffed animal. This stuffed dragon Jellycat has been one that I’ve been eyeing for a while and is just the cutest.
Mugs
I know just about every book lover enjoys a nice cup of tea or coffee while reading their book, and getting them a cute mushroom or bookish mug will undoubtedly be put to good use. You could even get them some tea bags or coffee grounds to go along with it!
DIY Bookend
I’ve wanted one of these little DIY miniature bookends for the longest time, and they are the perfect additions to one’s bookshelf!
Bookish Posters
Getting a bookish poster is such a simple and easy gift to get that person in your life, and you can get them several that are inspired by their favorite books so they can make a collage of sorts in their room.
Bookmarks
You can never have enough bookmarks, and like with the posters, you can’t go wrong with getting them one for their favorite book.
How To Fantasy Map
A staple in most fantasy books is always the map at the beginning of the page that we’re constantly flipping back to in order to know where the heck the characters are in the story. But how fun would it be to create your own fantasy map? Try getting them a How to Guide for drawing their own maps that they can hang up around their house!
Bookish Candles
I love nothing more than lighting a candle while reading my newest book, and I can say the same for most people. It would be amazing to get a candle inspired by their favorite book series or one that smells just like an old bookstore.
Wax Seal
I know that sending letters is now more or less a thing of the past, but getting your fantasy lover a personalized wax seal is just too cute to pass up. They could use it for special occasions or even stamp the inside of all the books they read.
And there are just a few gifts for fantasy lovers that you can give this Christmas or keep for yourself 😉 Let us know what you think!
