We all know Swifties are some of the most dedicated fans in the world. Whether you’ve been a fan since Taylor Swift’s debut album or just joined the fandom with the release of one of her newer albums, Swifties love to show off just how much they love Taylor. And sometimes they want to show that love permanently with a Taylor-themed tattoo. If you’re thinking about getting a Taylor Swift tattoo, you want to be sure the design is something you’ll love forever. Lucky for you, we’ve gathered some of the best Taylor Swift tattoos for your inspiration, including ideas for each of her albums. Read on for all the best Taylor Swift tattoo ideas small, medium, and large.

Debut

Taylor’s self-titled album doesn’t get the hype it deserves. Who couldn’t relate to the teen angst of “Teardrops on My Guitar” and “Tied Together with a Smile”? While most of the trendy Taylor-inspired tattoos mostly focus on newer albums like folklore, there are still a ton of ideas for you to show off your love of her country days. Take inspiration from young Taylor herself and get a heart tattoo like the one she drew on her foot for her CD cover. Get a cute cowboy boot to represent her days of Chevy trucks and Tim McGraw. Or if you’re looking for something a little bigger, you can get a traditional tattoo inspired by “Picture to Burn,” featuring a polaroid of a pickup truck being burned with a lighter.

Fearless

If you’re anything like me, Fearless was the album of your childhood. With hits like “Love Story,” “You Belong with Me,” and “Fifteen,” this album just screams Zillennial. Show your love for Taylor’s sophomore album with one of these unique designs. For our traditional tattoo fans, pair the lyrics “head first, fearless” with the image of a woman diving, you guessed it, head first. You can also go for Taylor’s famous heart hands, or a fine-line sketch of the Fearless (Taylor’s Version) album cover.

Speak Now

Speak Now is a fan favorite, so of course we found some cute designs inspired by the album. Taylor wrote “Long Live” for her fans, so why not get a tattoo for it? You can get a dragon accompanied by some of the lyrics from the song like “I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you” or “Long live all the magic we made.” If you think “Dear John” is the superior track 5, get a firework design inspired by the fireworks shining over John Mayer’s sad, empty town. And for our “Enchanted” fans, try a twinkling night sky inspired by the line “This night is sparkling.”

Red

We all know how incredible All Too Well (10 Minute Version) is, so let’s show some of Red’s other tracks some appreciation, starting with its opener “State of Grace”. Get a mosaic broken heart inspired by the song’s beautiful imagery. For fans of Taylor’s ringmaster outfit during the Red tour, go for a traditional tattoo inspired by the look. And for those (like me) who know “Treacherous” is one of the best songs in Taylor’s discography, get a tattoo of skeleton hands linking fingers for the line “All we are is skin and bone trained to get along.”

1989

Personally, I’m still reeling from the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) vault tracks, and there’s no denying 1989 is pop perfection. We’ve got some great tattoo ideas for all the lonely Starbucks lovers out there. If heartbreak is your national anthem, get this castle inspired by “New Romantics.” For those who firmly believe Taylor Swift and Harry Styles committed vehicular manslaughter together, get a paper airplane design for “Out of the Woods.” And for anyone who understands just how important “Clean” is, get the lyrics “I think I’m finally clean” accompanied by some butterflies.

Reputation

What better way to wait for the reputation (Taylor’s Version) announcement than by repping the album with a tattoo? Keep it simple by getting a heart with “rep” written in the album’s font. If you’re a “Dancing with Our Hands Tied” fan, go for a design featuring a pair of hands tied up with some flowers. Or for our “Delicate” stans, get an outstretched hand with a snake delicately wrapping around a finger.

Lover

While the most common Lover tattoo seems to be the traffic light from “Death by a Thousand Cuts,” there are plenty of other options to represent this album. I personally have a bow and arrow for “The Archer,” so of course I have to recommend getting a similar design. You can also go for a pair of dice with angel wings and devil horns for “Cruel Summer,” or get a snake and butterflies to represent the “ME!” video and Taylor’s transition from reputation to Lover.

Folklore

I’m sure we’ve all seen the cute tattoos inspired by “Mirrorball” by now, so today we’ve gathered some Folklore tattoos for those looking for a design you may not have seen as often. If you’re a fan of the Folklore love triangle, go for a tattoo inspired by “Betty”! We found this cute fine-line design featuring legs on a skateboard that turn into flowers at the knee, perfect for those who want something a little less on the nose than direct Taylor Swift lyrics. Or you can mix Folklore with a bit of Reputation with this snake uterus design inspired by “Mad Woman.” And of course, you can show your love for the entire Folklore era by getting a tattoo of the original cardigan.

Evermore

Swifties often joke that Taylor hates evermore, so show folklore’s sister album some love by getting a tattoo inspired by it. Go for a one-line flower accompanied by the lyrics “Long story short, I survived” from “long story short.” Show your passion for “cowboy like me” by getting a pair of kissing skeletons in cowboy hats. Or, combine your love for “ivy” and evermore as a whole with a design featuring a cozy cabin in the woods paired with the word “evermore.”

Midnights

Midnights might be Taylor’s newest album, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait to get it tattooed. For a minimalist tattoo, go for the lyrics to “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” with “You can face this” facing you to remind yourself what you’re capable of. If you’re a mastermind like Taylor or just appreciate the song, go for a pair of chess pieces. And for our traditional fans, get Taylor’s “Bejeweled” martini glass look drawn in the traditional style.
