Amelia Dimoldenberg is a comedian and interviewer taking the internet by storm. You’ve probably seen her on the red carpet at various premieres asking your favorite celebrities incredibly awkward questions, or you might know her from her YouTube series Chicken Shop Date in which she “dates” various celebrities in, you guessed it, a chicken restaurant. Her sarcasm and deadpan humor make her a refreshing new face in the entertainment world, and her rise to stardom has only begun. If you want to see more of Amelia Dimoldenberg, look no further. We’ve gathered some of the best Chicken Shop Date episodes for you to enjoy.
Cher
Cher is a living legend, so I was incredibly excited when I saw she was recently on an episode of Chicken Shop Date. The “Believe” and “I Got You Babe” singer is known for her blunt personality and humor, so she was a perfect match for Dimoldenberg’s deadpans. It’s awkward in the best way possible. Watching these two go back and forth is sure to make you laugh out loud.
Keke Palmer
Let’s be honest – anything with Keke Palmer is going to be hilarious, and this episode of Chicken Shop Date is no exception. Palmer is an actress recently known for her role in the horror movie Nope and, maybe for Zillennials, for her childhood roles in True Jackson, VP and Jump In. In recent years, she’s also started countless memes and TikTok trends. Palmer is so naturally friendly, flirty and funny that it’s impossible not to love her interactions with Dimoldenberg.
Jonas Brothers
The editing on this episode is top-notch. Dimoldenberg goes on a separate date with Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas and expertly edits them together for the perfect comedic timing. There are a ton of jokes that Zillennials are sure to appreciate, like a discussion on how to do the perfect “red dress” line from “Burnin’ Up,” and the brothers are all funny in their own right. Plus, this episode was filmed before Joe’s divorce, so there’s a cameo from Sophie Turner at the end. Seeing the Queen of the North alone is enough reason to watch this episode.
Jack Harlow
If you’ve heard anything about rapper Jack Harlow, you’ve probably heard that he could have good chemistry with a brick wall. The “First Class” singer is known for his charm with the ladies, and in this episode, he remains his charming self despite Dimoldenberg doing her best to throw off his game. Their personalities clash in a hilarious way, making this a much-watch episode.
Rosalía
I have to admit I’m not too familiar with the Spanish music scene, but the Chicken Shop Date with Rosalía definitely made me want to check out her music. The Spanish-born pop singer seems so fun and down-to-earth, and she and Dimoldenberg really seemed to click. The whole episode really felt like watching two friends have a conversation, and Rosalía even calls her sister at one point. You’ll almost wish you were there with them.
Daniel Kaluuya
With Daniel Kaluuya being most well-known for his roles in horror and thriller movies like Get Out and Nope, casual fans might not realize how funny he is. The British actor definitely shows off his funny side in this episode of Chicken Shop Date, and his laughter is infectious. Dimoldenberg even gives him an award for best date at the end of the episode.
Sean Evans
Last but certainly not least, we have to include the cross-over event of the century: the Chicken Shop Date with the host of Hot Ones, Sean Evans. It’s so fun to watch these two talk about the similarities in their shows and how they both respond to the word “chicken” more than their actual names. If you’re also a fan of Hot Ones, this episode is the best of both worlds.
