Saint Patrick’s Day is right around the corner; for many, this is a day to drink. Whether you’re in college or not, we can all celebrate St. Patty’s Day with some delicious drinks. For those who don’t like beer, this is the perfect list for you. I have gathered some easy festive cocktail recipes you can make to spice up your St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Here are some St. Patty’s Day drink recipes that you can make to have more fun celebrating this weekend.
Lucky Leprechaun Lemonade
If you like frozen drinks and lemonade, this will be up your alley. This drink contains Irish whiskey, Midori, lemonade and ice. You can also add to the aesthetic of the drink with some rainbow airheads.
This drink is super easy to make and will be very fun to share with the friend group if you choose to go with a party-size option.
St. Patrick’s Day Mimosa
For all my mimosa lovers out there, this is for you. This can be poured into cute little glasses or even in a borg. Either way, you’d be sure to enjoy this drink.
To make this, all you need is blue curacao, orange juice and Prosecco. The edible glitter is optional but it would definitely help give the drink an additional touch of St. Patty’s Day fun.
Pot o’ Gold
If green isn’t really your cup of tea, good thing St. Patrick’s Day also involves gold. This pot o’ gold drink resembles the gold that leprechauns find. It contains orange juice, honey syrup, Irish whiskey and ginger ale. If you’re an orange juice lover, you will probably really like this drink as well.
Leprechaun’s Margarita
For all the margarita lovers out there, this one’s for you. This green-themed marg contains tequila, blue curacao, pineapple juice, lime juice and the choice of edible glitter. This is a great drink to make for you and all your friends.
Another option is to make this a frozen marg. All you need in this case is ice and a blender to blend all the ingredients.
Lucky Leprechaun
This bright green cocktail is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. All you need is vodka, Midori, lime juice, simple syrup, lime-lemon soda and the optional green or silver sanding sugar if you want to decorate the rim of the glass. This would be a great drink to share with your friends if you’re hosting something more chill for the weekend.
Thin Mint Mudslide
This one is technically unrelated to the St. Patrick’s Day holiday but the green color of the drink will still be on theme. If you love chocolate and mint-flavored things, this will be the drink for you. All you need for this mudslide drink is mint chocolate chip ice cream, vodka, coffee liquor, Irish cream and the optional green food coloring if you want to make the drink more on theme. This drink is a delicious way to get tipsy, or drunk, for St. Patty’s Day.
Honey Leprechaun shots
Looking for a quick pregame option? These shots will be what you’re looking for. All you need is Irish cream, rumple minze and a splash of cream. Three simple ingredients is all you need to get the party started this holiday weekend.
