The weather starts getting cooler, the leaves change their colors, tank tops turn into sweaters and iced coffees switch into hot chai lattes. And as quickly as the seasons change, so do the current aesthetics and social trends that follow. As we say goodbye to a hot “Brat” summer of neon greens and smudged eyeliner, it’s time to step into a new era of unkempt hair, thrown together fall-inspired outfits and the perfectly imperfect charm of the “frazzled English woman” aesthetic.

I’m all for a trend that just allows me to throw whatever I want on and celebrate my own unique style, and the frazzled English woman aesthetic is all about appreciating the delightful messiness of life.
