One of the best things about witchcraft is that there are many ways to draw in the things you want and desire. There are many different ways to practice between rituals and nature and candles. One of my favorite ways to manifest is with crystals. Each crystal holds different properties and meanings, and there are so many possibilities when it comes to manifesting with them.
Specifically, I want to touch on crystals for romance, or love of any kind. This can be a romantic attraction, increasing self-love, attracting more love into your life, or simply keeping the love you have around. There are a lot of crystals out there to be used in your magick that are not rose quartz. I really want to highlight the power of these lesser-known crystals for romance. The book I will be referencing is The Book of Practical Witchcraft; a Compendium of Spells, Rituals, and Occult Knowledge by Pamela Ball, and you can find it on Amazon here!
Citrine
Citrine is a crystal that is good for a multitude of things, like boldness and courage. This can be very beneficial when trying to attract romance or love into your life. It also promotes victory over romantic rivalries, so if you are competing for attention or really want to seal the deal over someone or something in your life, this crystal will definitely help in aiding that.
The Book of Practical Witchcraft (which I will abbreviate as BOPW from here on out) also offers rituals that you can perform. A lot of them don’t involve crystals but you can always tweak any ritual or spell to better benefit you! This is one of the perks of witchcraft, that you listen to your own intuition. I recommend adding Citrine to the ritual “To Win the Heart of the One You Love” which can be found on page 162.
Carnelian
While not a traditional romance crystal, carnelian is also a great way to attract the kind of people you want in your life. The properties of this crystal are invoking peace and pleasure, bringing joy into a long journey, and helping lessen feelings of disappointment or anger. This is a great crystal to use in your romantic and platonic relationships and will help bring positivity to these interactions.
The boost of pleasure will also be beneficial for a romantic setting. Try adding Carnelian with the “To Bring Romantic Love to You” spell, along with another crystal of your choosing from this list to really home in on the type of love you wish to see. This spell can be found on page 166 of BOPW.
Sardonyx
Sardonyx is one of my favorite crystals. It looks so unique and pretty, and its properties are too! Use this crystal to inspire love and romance in your life, boost confidence, and heal relationships that need some mending. Like most crystals on this list, simply cleanse them and add intention! Carry them around or place them in a spot where you want to attract this kind of energy.
Garnet
Garnet is another crystal of mine that I adore. Its properties include bringing devotion and loyalty, drive and determination, and it also wards off thunder and lightning. You can take that last one literally, but metaphorically it can help drive off fights or tension within a relationship. The loyalty aspect is extremely important in this modern age of dating as well.
Ensuring you can attract love with loyalty included already will greatly improve the rest of the love in your life.
Try using garnet along with the “To Beckon a Person” ritual on page 170, to attract the type of confident, loyal, and devoted person you are searching for.
Watermelon/Pink Tourmaline
Tourmaline is another of the crystals for romance, among other things. The main properties of this one in a love setting includes promoting harmony, relieving tension, and sharpening intellect. Black Tourmaline is a great crystal to carry around in general because of these properties. When considering the different colored varieties, the color pink is associated with love and romance.
Watermelon or Pink Tourmaline (different names, same principle) will help with these properties under a layer of romance or love. Use this crystal to help with tension between people and help to understand those you love better.
A ritual you can look to in BOPW is the “To Clear the Air Between Lovers”, found on page 167, and adding tourmaline will help increase the effectiveness.
Aventurine
Aventurine is another that is not typically associated with crystals for romance. The properties associated with aventurine are cheerfulness and vigor, emotional moral support, preventing doubt and anxiety, and strengthening resolve when it comes to turmoil and hardship. This crystal may not seem very romantic but it’s equally as important to attract these kinds of positive traits in a person you are looking at romantically.
Being able to be emotionally supported and free of doubt is something a lot of people seek out. Use this crystal along with the “To Draw New Love To You” spell. This spell already calls for jasper or a quartz of some kind, but the addition of aventurine will aid in the attraction of the type of person you desire. This spell is found on page 170.
Feldspar
This crystal is known for strengthening bonds, assisting with fertility, and encouraging marital happiness. Feldspar (spelled both ways) is a great crystal to look into when dealing with marriage and maintaining harmony, similar to tourmaline.
Morganite
Morganite is another of many crystals for romance. This one particularly is great for “inducing love, devotion, and friendship” (pg 55). Morganite is another crystal to carry around if you are trying to attract this kind of attention in your life, especially if you are planning on meeting up with the people you are trying to manifest. Try adding morganite to the spell “To Have a Person Think About You” found on page 173 in BOPW.
There we have it! 8 different crystals you can use in your spells or rituals to attract love and romance into your life. Of course, rose quartz is a great option too, but having more options opens the door to different types of manifestation and love!
