Have you ever wanted to know which Sanrio character you are? In this article, I will do my best to pair a Sanrio character with your zodiac sign. A lot of these characters have birthdays, but not every sign is represented. I tried to match them either based on the birthday the characters have or the vibe they give off. What Sanrio character are you?
Libra – Sept 23-Oct 22
My Melody, whose birthday is January 18th, is known for being good-natured and honest, just like the diplomatic vibe of Libra. She values her friends and gets along with everyone. Her cute nature is on brand with the dainty, pretty aesthetic a lot of Libras have. Her favorite food is almond pound cake, something just as sweet as a Libra.
Scorpio – Oct 23-Nov 21
Kuromi is a passionate girl, born on October 31st. She is fiery and punk, similar to the stereotypical vibe of a Scorpio. Like Scorpios, Kuromi is passionate about many things, like romance stories, good food, and mischief. These antics show her bravery and resourcefulness like those of a Scorpio. She is also known to like dark colors, like black and deep purple, and of course spooky things, given she was born on Halloween. She also loves writing in her diary, another passion of hers.
Sagittarius – Nov 22-Dec 21
Hello Kitty is a little girl who looks like a cat but is not a cat. Her birthday is November 1st, and she has a twin sister named Mimmy. Kitty is fiery and adventurous, she loves exploring with her friends and has a ton of hobbies, like baking, reading, making new friends, and eating cookies. Her heart of gold and generosity is just like that of Sagittarius, and her extroverted-ness allows her to get along with everyone.

Little Twin Stars are twins named Kiki and Lala, and they share a birthday of December 24th. They are curious and want to be the best they can be. They are constantly adventuring out and learning new things. Like Capricorns, they are serious about their roles to be the brightest stars and are always looking out for each other.
Aquarius – Jan 20-Feb 18
Pocchaco is an adorable little dog who was born on February 29th (a leap year!). He loves sports of all kinds and is the best at them. He is so full of enthusiasm and is unwavering in his love for his friends. His originality in interests compared to the rest of the Sanrio line up makes him stand out, and he is even one of the most popular characters due to how true to himself he is, similar to Aquarius!
Pisces – Feb 19-Mar 20
Charmmy Kitty is Hello Kitty’s pet cat, and while she shares a birthday with Kuromi, her general vibe is very relatable to Pisces. Charmmy Kitty is similar in style to Marie from Aristocats, appearing all white with a pink bow. She is known to be kind and friendly with those around her, like the affectionate nature of Pisces. She is also very artistic and is known to enjoy fashion. These light tones and pastels are also very appropriate with Pisces, as this sign tends to be associated with these colors.
Aries – Mar 21-Apr 19
Badtz-Maru, born on April 1st, is the rebellious, “bad boy” of the Sanrio world. Inside, he is a kind-hearted penguin who secretly loves everyone around him, though his exterior may not reflect that. He can be a bit mischievous and dynamic, but he just wants to care about everyone around him like his friends.
Taurus – Apr 20-May 20
Dear Daniel’s birthday is May 3rd, and he is as creative as you can get. He loves photography and dance. Dear Daniel is dependable and shows a lot of emotion towards the smallest of things. He loves to show up for his friends, especially the ones he loves. Like a Taurus, Dear Daniel is also fashionable, and he loves animals.
Gemini – May 21-June 20
Gudetama is a fun little egg guy with no gender and is fluid in personality. It has no birthday because every day is its birthday. Like Gemini, Gudetama is versatile, and its personality changes depending on how it is cooked. Gemini often has the reputation of being two-faced due to the polarity of their emotions and actions but like Gudetama, these are not always negative connotations. Gudetama’s different expressions are similar to those of Gemini, who is known for having different ways of interacting with each unique person in their life. The curiosity of this egg is abundant, as it explores various ways of being cooked to learn and grow.
Cancer – June 21-July 22
Keroppi is a Cancer sign born on July 10th. He is caring for his friends and enjoys learning new things. As typical for signs born in the summer, he likes spending his time outdoors and camping and is known for being energetic, silly, and bubbly. He has a huge family and is always looking out for all of them.

He has a ton of medals from running track and loves being active and outgoing. His fiery personality can get him into trouble at times, but his caringness towards his friends makes up for that.

Cinnamoroll is a Pisces, born March 15th, but his gentleness and friendliness give off Virgo vibes. He was born in a cloud in the sky, and his favorite food is warm cinnamon rolls and works at a cafe. He is a compassionate friend and is very adorable. Similar to Virgo, he is loyal to his friends. He loves naps and being with the people he cares about.
