A comic book character may not be everyone’s first choice for fashion advice, but if you’re gonna take it from anyone it better be Selina Kyle. Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman, everyone’s favorite cat burglar. She’s known for always giving Batman a chase and her impeccable tastes. Her style is sleek, sexy, and stunning. A hint of edgy and elegance. The design is as follows: leather, lace, bodycon, heels, pretty jewels, and something catty. Check out some of these inspirations for Selina Kyle outfits!
Dress
When it comes to dresses, form-fitting is favorable. Usually above the knee. Black is her most recognizable color. She’ll wear something like this paired with some opera gloves and a sensible necklace for a nice night out to the opera with a certain billionaire playboy.
Although many believe black to be her signature color, she does like some brighter shades every once in a while. Some reds, greens, white, grey, and especially purple. One of her first costumes was even a goldish orange. However, her most recognizable costume outside of the catsuit was a purple high slit gown. Throw on a cape and you’ll have a cosplay ready to go. Jacket
A leather jacket is a staple. Whether she’s in the middle of a heist as Catwoman or casually walking around after evading Batman, it’s a must. But who doesn’t love a little bit of (faux) leather? A biker style pairs nicely with her motorcycle. Although, a simple crop that you throw on to add a little edge could be a great addition to your closet.
Tops
The tops tend to go a similar direction to the dresses. Selina loves to wear some form-fitting and low cut shirts. Sometimes tees when she’s tired of corsets and catsuits. However, a stylish turtleneck would be right up her alley and be a little bit more elegant than a regular top. This would be great opportunity to add some lace into these selections. Either way, you’re ready to turn some heads in your Selina Kyle outfits!
Bottoms
At this point, you probably wouldn’t be surprised if I said the pants fit the same as the dresses and tops. However, not everyone is into leather/pleather pants (but if you are, it’s a great choice) so I would go with some skinny jeans. Ripped or not, they have a little bit of style that can complete a cat-like look when need be. For something a bit sportier, a pair of mesh yoga leggings would be perfect. She is pretty flexible. Something with a little stretch is just what you need.

If you’re thinking of a skirt, I would redirect you to the dress section for inspiration. However, if you want to take this another route, a pencil skirt could be the way to go. Selina outfits aren’t always short skirts and high slits. That’s just what a lot of comic book artists like to draw her in. A pencil skirt is another nice choice for her, it’s something that could be paired with a sleek blazer for a more formal/business look.
Shoes
Heels. Who doesn’t love a woman who could do back flips off a building on the skinniest heels you’ve ever seen. It’s something Batman and I have in common, but I wouldn’t suggest you do the same. Unless you somehow could in a very safe way, then I would cheer you all the way down. Catwoman in heels is a must. Stilettos, platforms, pumps, chunky, cone, you name it! Surprisingly, kitten heel isn’t the most popular for Selina. The name fits, but the higher the better when it comes this cat lady!

Accessories
Here is where you could add a little more. She’s a jewel thief, likes a lot of shiny things. Fortunately, you don’t have to steal anything to be a copycat in this case. Just find your sparkliest necklaces, earrings, rings, or bracelets and you’re good to go. Chokers and jeweled necklaces are the top picks for Selina. If you have any pearls, you could give a quick shoutout to Martha Wayne (just no alleyways!). Although any cat’s eye gemstones should probably be your go to inspiration. And remember cats love anything that dangles!

That’s quite a selection of jewelry, but there’s still something missing. A feline aspect. Everyone knows this cat’s got claws. A nail claw ring set would be exactly what you need. Some even come with embellishments. After that one final touch is needed. A cat ear tiara. Cat ears are cute enough if you have them, But a tiara just adds a little glamour!

Or at least to dress like her. Selina Kyle is one of the most fabulous cat burglars out there. When it comes to fashion, this black cat only brings luck. She is a fashion icon, and I can’t get enough of these pieces. I wouldn’t steal from the world’s greatest thief, but I might be willing to steal her look.
