Q&A With Whitney Fenimore

Q: Tell us your story! Where did you begin and how did you reach the caliber you’re currently at?

A: I started playing guitar at about 12 years old. I put together my first band at 13 and have been doing music ever since.

Q: What makes you love what you do? How long have you been making music? Would you call it your passion?

A: I love how music is the universal language. It connects us all. Ive been making music for over 15 years now.

Q: What are some accomplishments or milestones you’ve reached lately?

A: I was on Season 13 of The Voice and made it to the Top 24. That was a pretty fun moment in my career! I also got to open for Julia Michaels and Lori Mckenna. Will forever he grateful for those opportunities.

Q: Tell us all about your latest project!

A: I have been releasing singles the past couple of years. The latest song I released is called “Better Than Lonely” and I wrote and produced it with my friend Sean Sroka of Ten Kills the Pack.

Q: Do you have any advice for someone who might admire you? What do you think is the key to success?

A: I would just say to trust your taste and to trust your gut when it comes to what you like as an artist/creative person. I think just continue to show up and to try and get better every day at your craft. Also, let yourself make mistakes. It’s part of the process.

Q: What do you want our readers to know about you?

A: That you can never have enough queso.
