We’ve all heard the saying, ‘You can’t have your cake and eat it too.’ Unless you’re Hailey Bieber. Then you can have your cake, the bakery, the baker, frost the cake, eat the cake, and have seconds even. If you’re Hailey Bieber, you can essentially have whatever you want, but not without any effort. Being the daughter of famed actor Stephen Baldwin, she is used to getting her wishes granted, everything handed to her on a silver platter. She points and she gets. She snaps and it’s hers. And that’s what happened with Justin Bieber. ‘Hailey Bieber stalker’ is the new rage, and it’s alarming just how devoted Hailey is to getting what, and who, she wants.
Born Hailey Baldwin, she has been in the socialite circle her whole life. Being best friends with notable influencers and celebrities like Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters, Hailey runs in the same, though distant, groups as Justin Bieber.
And Selena Gomez.
To understand the severity of the situation and just how much of a stalker Hailey Bieber is, a timeline must be established.
Timeline
In 2009, Justin and Selena were introduced to each other by their managers after Justin stated Selena was his celebrity crush during a radio interview. They would go on to have a tumultuous, on-again, off-again relationship for the better part of ten years. Also, in 2009, Hailey met Justin for the first time when he was on the Today show, though there wasn’t much of a conversation between them. Stephen, her father, did most of the talking, and save for the quick ‘Hi, hello,’ the two exchanged, not much happened. But for Hailey, it seemed that was the beginning of the rest of her life.
In December 2010, Justin and Selena were seen in public for the first time together and were viewed getting pancakes at IHOP in Philadelphia. At this point, Selena was denying any romantic connection and called Justin her brother more than once. Neither party was giving anything up, and we would have to wait a few weeks until the confirmation of their relationship was gifted to us. On New Year’s Eve, #Jelena was born after the two shared a kiss on a yacht in St. Lucia. It was after this that things began to heat up and get serious not just for Jelena, but for Hailey Bieber too.
In February 2011, Justin’s “Never Say Never” film premiere occurred in L.A. Among the many guests gracing the purple carpet at the event was Hailey Baldwin. Hailey was seen in a few videos watching him from the sides as he gave interviews and took pictures. It was at this event as well that their first official encounter happened and was photographed. Later that month, Justin and Selena are seen for the first time as a couple on the red carpet of the Oscars party hosted by Vanity Fair. They made their love public with an admirable amount of affection during the event. In May, at the Billboard Music Awards, the two were photographed kissing on the carpet, with Selena officially announcing the relationship. Later on, in July, Selena Gomez’s movie “Monte Carlo” premiered. Of the guests on the carpet at the event was also Hailey Bieber who was pictured holding up a magazine with Justin and Selena on the cover.
Fast forward to February 2012, Selena and Justin go out for a cute sushi date and visit the movie theaters. In videos and pictures from fans and paparazzi from that night, Hailey Bieber was noticed in the background watching the couple as they walked around and took pictures with people. This would not be the first time Hailey would be seen in the shadows of Jelena.
In 2013, it was reported that Hailey would DM a then-famous Belieber who ran a popular fan account and was kept up to date on Justin’s whereabouts and actions. Hailey would message the account holder asking which hotel Justin was staying at when he was in New York and wanting to know where he would be. Hailey would then show up and allegedly ‘run into him accidentally,’ purposely putting herself in the same space and circle as him. Hailey would make a habit of this, constantly researching and trying to find where he was to put herself in front of him, to be noticed by him, going as far as even staying at the same hotel as him.

More and more fans noticed that Hailey would begin to copy Selena in also everything. What was once chalked up as a coincidence became too glaring to ignore by the masses. Hailey would mirror Selena’s actions, wearing the same things she would wear, mimicking her cooking show, and even going as far as launching a makeup brand two years after Selena’s “Rare Beauty,” which fans speculated was a calculated move.
Fans have begun to pour over the past decade, scrutinizing every interview, every talkshow appearance, every look on every carpet of every launch and every event, every hairstyle and accessory choice. If Selena did it, chances are Hailey copied it right after.
The most notable parallel that truly cannot be written off as anything but creepy is the tattoo of the letter ‘G’ that Selena has behind her ear. The public first saw the ‘G’ tattoo in June 2015. The cursive lowercase letter is said to be in honor of her sister, Gracie. During that same year, Hailey was spotted with the same tattoo in the same font in the same position. The only difference is that her tattoo was said to be in honor of her pastor’s daughter, Georgia.
Selena and Justin officially broke up in 2017 after sharing the better part of a decade together. Justin and Hailey got married in 2018, less than one year after Jelena was laid to rest.
Fans have researched this relationship front to back, top to bottom, from start to finish. We feel we are now inside their relationships. Clips of Justin and Hailey interacting reveal that Justin is uncomfortable and seems unhappy in his relationship with his wife. People are making comparisons of his behavior when he was with Selena and when he is with Hailey. 90-second videos and live streams are our window into their relationship, and netizens have concluded that Justin hates Hailey and that she stalked his way into his life. Whether or not that is the truth, we will likely never know. Justin even told Demi Lovato on The Ellen Show he believes this was an arranged marriage that was in the works for years.

Regardless of whether or not Hailey did stalk her way into a potentially one-sided marriage, Selena Gomez seems to be as happy as a calm with her new fiancé Benny Blanco, and that’s truly all that matters!
