Drawing in one of the festival’s largest crowds during weekend one of Coachella, Charli XCX gave the crowd the show they hoped for. Full of guest appearances from Lorde, Troye Sivan, and Billie Eilish, with whom she collaborated on Brat And It’s Completely Different, the surprises just didn’t stop. Online “beef” with Green Day about who should have been headliners, a remixed throwback performance of “I Love It,” and a screen telling fans that Brat summer is over while mentioning other artists who should take the torch for summer 2025. As the singer gets ready to kick off her US arena tour, a night full of surprises, here are some Charli XCX Brat tour predictions.

The tour began with only five US dates: Austin, Minneapolis, Rosemont, and two nights in Brooklyn, New York. As interest in the tour exploded and tickets sold out, two more nights were added in Brooklyn, and only one more night was added to Austin. Leaving the US leg of the tour at a whopping eight nights. While most tours live at least a couple of months, we expect this tour to be packed with guests and energy seeing that its length is shorter than most. Like the songs on Brat, the eight-night tour will really pack a punch.

Surprise Guests

Yes, of course, the guests will likely be in New York, considering half the dates are there and it’s a hub for celebrities – many living there and it being easy to access. Just two weeks ago, Troye, Lorde, and Billie all made a surprise appearance at Coachella and a week ago Addison did as well. This feels like a bit of a sneak peek at the potential guests for the tour. These four are the obvious selections and Troye is the most likely surprise guest depending on his schedule and availability, but Reddit is saying he is likely. If there were to be a guest every night, that would mean some repeats of these four or some pulls from the second album, Brat and it’s completely different but also still Brat

Of all the songs on the second album, the most obvious choices are Shygirl and a.g.cook. The reason being that a.g.cook is a close friend of Charli’s and someone she references often in interviews as well as someone who likely doesn’t have a busy schedule of their own. Shygirl on the other hand was on the sweat tour for all 22 nights as the opener and was included in 365 every night as well. However, Shygirl will be the opener for the UK leg of the tour which reduces her odds of being a special guest during the US leg.

Bladee, Tinashe, and Bon Iver are some potential guest appearances as well. They might be available and all have songs on the second album that would go incredibly hard. On Reddit, the girls are saying that Finn Keane, the opener for the first three nights, will also be the special guest – Keane produced Speed Drive, Charli’s hit single from the Barbie movie soundtrack, a personal favorite of mine. My bestie and I go so hard to this song and I will absolutely crash out (see what I did there, crash) if she doesn’t play it. Considering Keane produced it and he will be there, I can almost guarantee they will play it live. Keane also produced Von Dutch, the only song Charli has admitted is a diss track on the entire brat album.

To wrap up the possible special guests, Robyn and Yung Lean would be incredible because the version of 360 with them just sends me to another dimension. Fingers crossed they are available and opening the show with her. The guest to top all guests, of course, would be none other than Ariana Grande, our Glinda. She is the most unlikely of all guests, with a very busy schedule and a lack of desire to even tour her own most recent album, but don’t get me started on that.

Setlist

Drumroll please, let’s get into song predictions! To start the night, I anticipate she will begin with Club Classics or 360. Beginning the show with 360 and ending with 365 would be a beautiful way to pay homage to the album by bookending the concert the same way those songs bookend the record. However, if she doesn’t begin with that, she might begin with Club Classics which was third on the set list for the Sweat Tour with Troye Sivan.

Of course, she will play most of the hits from the album, like Sympathy is a Knife, Guess, Everything is Romantic, Girl, So Confusing, and Talk Talk – just like she played on the Sweat tour. Additionally, there are some more choices from the album she didn’t get to play like B2b, Rewind, Mean Girls, and Von Dutch. The slower songs on the album like So I, I might say something stupid, and I think about it all the time will not likely be played seeing as the concert will have a party-like atmosphere and high energy like her boiler room sets.

Some fantastic off-album selections are Move Me, Baby, Yuck, and Good Ones from Crash, as well as party 4 u from ‘how i’m feeling now’ which has been getting some recent traction on TikTok. I would love to hear Crash personally, but since it’s the title song, she will not likely play it seeing as this is not the Crash tour.  Some singles that would be greatly appreciated are Vroom Vroom and Speed Drive – two fantastic hits from Barbie Summer. I am very hopeful to hear Spring Breakers from the deluxe album titled “ Brat it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not’. Out of the three songs, this one is most likely considering its upbeat vibe and high energy. I’d say there’s a 7/10 chance we hear this on opening night. Considering she added a throwback performance of “I Love It’ into Coachella, there will be a good chance of her old songs making an appearance but probably not Boom Clap, which is referenced in Spring Breakers.

Lastly, a huge question from the fans is – will the merch be the same as the sweat tour or will there be new additions to the Brat merch that are exclusive to this tour? My prediction is that there will at least be a tour shirt with the dates and nights of the Brat tour, for the US leg. Other than that, I would assume the merch to be the same as the sweat tour with 1-3 new shirts to take the space that Troye’s merch was occupying on the previous tour. With a pop-up to take photos at Moody Center right now: you can see there are already surprises in store for this tour.
