You probably clicked on this title and questioned, “What are they talking about?” “How can a holiday fit a zodiac sign?” Not to worry, Zillennials, I know what I am talking about with this one. Yes, all zodiac signs are seasonal, and seasonal holidays fall into them. For example, Christmas falls into Capricorn season, and Valentine’s Day is Aquarius’ second birthday. Those are the traditional holidays that everyone knows and loves! What about National Donut Day? What about National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day? National days count as public holidays! So, which unusual and funky holiday suits your zodiac sign?

Aries: Lazy Day (Aug 10)

For my Aries folks, you are always going for the jugular and headstrong about what you want in this world. Your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent have allowed you to take charge in any situation with a fiery ambition. So, why not have a day off? Lazy Day is a national holiday in the United States that pays tribute to “lazy” animals like sloths but also celebrates lazy behavior! Occasionally, it becomes clear that everyone can take a lazy day and let out some steam. Aries folks, you are a fire sign, and sometimes, you need a day to relax your shoulders. Turn on your favorite Netflix movie in your robe, and lie back.

Even better, you can refuse to do anything for the day. No requests. No assignments. It’s all about you, Aries!

Taurus: Chocolate Cupcake Day (Oct 18)

Taurus, since you already have a luxury mindset, why not indulge in more finery? The trope of every Taurus being stubborn is overrated. But, one thing is accurate: they love to eat good food. So, why not eat some chocolate cupcakes? There is no reason why this holiday was created.

But, rumor has it is that the day commemorates the origins of chocolate cupcakes in a 1796 cookbook called American Cookery. To celebrate this holiday, buy or bake a chocolate cupcake! Either option will make you feel like a million bucks!

Gemini: Look Alike Day (April 20)

Of course for the twins, I had to give them the “Look Alive” holiday! Celebrated on April 20th, the holiday encourages people to dress like their favorite celebrity or person. If you were a student, you could dress up like your professor. Or, if you working at a part or full-time job, try to dress like your boss! I chose this holiday for Gemini because this holiday will be a challenge for you.

You would have to find someone you admire and try copying their gestures. Get to know their personality and learn more about them. Gemini is allegedly notorious for being two-faced and struggles with anxiety. The sentiment does not apply to all Geminis! Prove the doubters wrong and follow the footsteps of someone you care for!

Cancer: Card Making Day (Oct 4)

Cancers, you are such sweet and caring individuals! It makes sense that you all get one of this list’s most heartfelt, funky holidays! Card Making Day is when you want to share a note with a loved one or friend and get creative with your designs! The Cancer sign is known for its softness under its hard crab exterior. So, this funky holiday is the best time for you to express your kindness to others.

To celebrate this holiday, go to your local Walgreens or craft store. Buy markers, pens, glitter, crayons, colored pencils, stencils, and buy the entire store. Grab your materials from the cashier, run back home, and create your masterpieces!

Leo: Happy Hour Day (Nov 12)

Leo, turn me up! The lions love to roar, and what better way to do so than during Happy Hour! Happy Hour Day is a nationwide celebration in the United States (but it can also be celebrated globally!). Restaurants and bars nationwide would discount their Happy Hour to celebrate the day with appetizers and drinks! Why did I choose this holiday for Leo? Well, Leos are known to be party animals and command a room wherever they go. If anything, they can buy drinks for everyone in the bar or spend their money all night having fun!

To celebrate the holiday, it is very self-explanatory. Go to a bar (if you are age-appropriate!) and order a few drinks and food during Happy Hour! If you are underage, order a few appetizers at your favorite restaurant and enjoy yourself with some friends!

Virgo: Puppy Day (March 23)

It was so hard to find a place for this holiday because it is one of the most cutest holidays ever! Puppy Day is a national holiday celebrating and encouraging puppy adoption for shelters and mills. The holiday’s origins go back to someone named Paige, who brought attention to adopting pets in 2004. Also, even if you are not a dog person, you can adopt a kitten as well! I chose this holiday for Virgos because they are known for their practicality and compassion for others. What better way to showcase their compassion on this day!

To celebrate this holiday, post a few social media posts about the day to encourage your circles to adopt! If you want, you can go adopt a bundle of cuteness yourself!

Libra: Camera Day (June 29)

Hello Libras! Yes, smile for the camera! As the fashionistas of the zodiac, it is only fair that you all get to have Camera Day! The origins of Camera Day are to celebrate the invention of the camera and take as many photos as we can!

You can go to a museum and take a few shots of sculptures and paintings. You can go sightseeing around a big city or a small town, and take a few photos of the treasures there. But, most importantly, have a photoshoot! Get your hair and makeup done, pose! Commemorate Camera Day by looking good for the camera!

Scorpio: Opposite Day (Jan 25)

Opposite Day? What is happening? Well, Scorpios, Opposite Day is when you do the opposite of what someone is saying or doing all day. Yes, you read that right, ALL DAY! Scorpios, you are known for your magnetic nature and passionate personality. Wouldn’t it be cool if you did the opposite of that? This day will be a challenge for Scorpios because they have to do the opposite of a person for the day!

To celebrate the holiday, find your person to impersonate wrongly all day and see what they do in their lives! For example, Scorpios can be at a cafe, sipping quietly and then you slurp loudly!

Sagittarius: World Storytelling Day (March 20)

Hello fellow Sagittarians! As the travellers of the zodiac, it is only fitting that you all have World Storytelling Day! This funky holiday is to celebrate the art of oral and written storytelling! It encourages audiences to share their experiences and connections with the world. Truthfully, this is one of the most wholesome holidays on this list!

To celebrate the funky holiday, gather your friends and family! Plan a get-together at your home or public space. Since this holiday is in the a beginning of spring, you can light a fire and share your stories. If it is still chilly, you can order takeout and chat in your living room! Let the world know about your story, Sagittarius!

Capricorn: Wear Pajamas to Work Day (April 16)

Hey Capricorns! I know you all love to work and have schedules planned for months ahead. But, have you considered loosening up a little bit? Maybe you should wear your PJs to work? Wear Pajamas to Work Day is a fun holiday for all go-getters who want to get their pajamas and wear them in the office. Imagine working in your office building and seeing your colleagues in their pajamas! Isn’t that fun! The day was created to relieve stress and encourage employees to be more relaxed in fast-paced environments!

To celebrate this funky holiday, wear your pajamas to work! Also, if allowed, you can wear your pajamas to school. Even better, if you work from home, wear your pajamas anyway! Get comfy, Capricorns!

Aquarius: Thrift Shop Day (Aug 17)

Hi Aquarians! You all are a unique and odd bunch! The trendsetter and courageous one in the zodiac. Since you all are odd, I’m sure you have a knack for finding odd things at a thrift shop and making them your own! Thrift Shop Day celebrates and raises awareness of buying second-hand items! Thrifting provides a lot of benefits to the environment and what better zodiac sign to promote this!

To celebrate this funky holiday, go to your local thrift store and start shopping! You can shop for bags, shoes, vinyls, and more! Also, be sure to stop by other thrift stores to show them your love and appreciation!

Pisces: Free Comic Book Day (May 3)

Last but not least, hello Pisces! Now, I know every single one of you has a creative bone, so why not explore it? Nothing is more vibrant and colorful than a comic book! Free Comic Book Day started back in 2002, which celebrates the storytelling and art of comic books. On this day, comic book stores have a section where consumers can find a valuable comic for their collection.

To celebrate this holiday, find a comic book store near you on May 3rd and see what treasure you can find for free!
