Today, millions across the country will be celebrating Halloween. It’s a holiday where celebrators dress up in costumes, go trick-or-treating and have parties. But, it’s not Halloween without eating delicious sweets. Are you hosting a Halloween party or looking for inspiration to make spooky treats? We’ve got you covered. Here’s a list of last minute Halloween recipes that you can make to have a spooktacular celebration.

Brownie Graveyard

You can’t celebrate Halloween without this gooey snack. This simple recipe requires your desired brownie box mix, eggs, melted butter and water. First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In order to make your brownies fudgy, add two eggs instead of three, ½ cup of melted butter instead of vegetable oil and ¼ cup of water. Before adding your brownie mixture into your pan, grease it to ensure that it does not stick. Depending on your pan size, bake the brownie mix for 20-35 minutes. After letting the brownies cool, divide them into rectangular pieces.

Once you’ve finished dividing the brownies, spread melted chocolate chips on top of the brownie and add crushed Oreo cookies to act as “dirt.” And to top it all off. take half of a Milano cookie and use black icing to engrave the letters “RIP.” To make your “graveyard” more realistic, you can also incorporate white sprinkles to act as “bones” and gummy worms.

Rice Krispies Mummies

This next treat is a hauntingly simple, but tasty treat. In this quick recipe, you can either buy Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats premade or make them yourselves at home. To make them homemade, you’ll need three ingredients: rice cereal, marshmallows and butter. First, melt ½ stick of butter over low heat. Then, add your marshmallows and stir until it’s melted. Continue to stir for about two minutes and then remove it from the heat. Then, add the rice cereal into the marshmallow mixture and mix it all together. Next, spread the mixture onto a tray and divide it evenly into rectangles. Now comes the fun part: “mummifying” the sticky treat.

To mummify the cereal treat, melt white chocolate and dip one side of the treat into the mixture. Once the white chocolate has solidified, drizzle more white chocolate onto the treat to make it look like “wrapping.” And lastly, to make your mummified creation more lifelike, add edible eyes onto the treat.

Chocolate Chip Spider Cookies

If you’re a fan of peanut butter and chocolate, this recipe is perfect for you. For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients: chocolate chips, white sugar, brown sugar, all purpose flour, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda and salt. First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, melt a stick of butter in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds and let it cool for a couple of minutes.

Now, it’s time to make the cookie batter. In a mixer bowl, combine your melted butter with ½ cup of white sugar and ¼ cup of brown sugar, and then mix until it’s smooth. Then, add one egg and one teaspoon of vanilla extract, and mix it together on low speed for 12 seconds. Next, add 1½ cups of all purpose flour, ½ teaspoon of baking soda and ¼ teaspoon of salt, and mix it again until you reach your desired consistency. Afterwards, add your chocolate chips into the batter and blend it together. Divide the batter into even balls and place them on parchment paper. And finally, bake the cookies for 10 minutes and let them cool for a few minutes.

After letting the cookies cool, add an upside down mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup on top of each cookie. Using melted chocolate and a piping bag, draw four “spider legs” on the side of the candy. And to finish it off, add edible eyes and voila! You have your own chocolate chip spider cookie.

Ghost Cake Pops

This fan favorite snack is a great addition for your Halloween get together. In this recipe, you will need white sugar, all purpose flour, baking powder, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, eggs, milk, white frosting and white chocolate. First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease your pan. Then, in a mixing bowl, add one cup of white sugar and ½ cup of unsalted butter, and mix until smooth. Next, add both eggs one at a time while mixing, and then add two teaspoons of vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, mix 1½ cups of all purpose flour and 1¾ teaspoons of baking powder. Afterwards, combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture and mix them together. Lastly, add ½ cup of milk and mix it again.

Now that you’ve got your cake mixture, spread it onto your pan and bake it in the oven for 35 minutes. After it’s finished baking, let it cool off completely. To make your dough, break up the baked cake into crumbs and then add your choice of frosting. Scoop the dough into individual balls and let it chill for three to four hours. Once the dough has cooled, form an oval shape and pinch the sides until you make a ghost shape. Then, melt your white chocolate and use a stick to dip the dough into the mixture until it’s all covered. After the white chocolate solidifies onto the dough, use melted chocolate to draw the eyes and mouth onto each cake pop. And to finish it off, you can use melted white chocolate to attach small candy and small arms onto the ghosts. This gives the illusion that the ghosts are holding an object.
