One faithful night, I was on my bed scrolling through all the streaming platforms I could afford to find a good romance. A romance that will shake my boots and make my heart pound in anticipation for the leads to kiss. And truthfully, I couldn’t find anything that would satisfy that hunger built up inside of me. (Also, I was becoming very hungry and wouldn’t eat until I had entertainment in front of me). So, I went to my last resort, the resort that has never disappointed me: TikTok. My thumb was ready to scroll through my For You Page to find spontaneous parts of an unknown film. But, no, my eyes were blessed by a man with curly blond hair looking up at a woman on his knees with yearning eyes. And if you know me, I love a yearning man. I quickly checked the hashtags, and “My Fault: London” was there. Alas, I found my movie for the night!

I was not disappointed! Oh my goodness, the way I clicked on Amazon Prime to watch two hours of plot twists, the step-sibling trope, and drag racing! No, RuPaul did not appear, but that would’ve been a great cameo appearance! Honestly, “My Fault: London” satisfied my hunger for romance, and I’m sure it will also satisfy your hunger! My Fault London Brief Synopsis

Before we dive into this pool (pun intended), let me give you a brief overview of the film! Noah, our protagonist, and the IT girl must move to London because her mother decided to remarry to her new stepfather, a businessman. He is not just a businessman but a wealthy businessman in the real estate industry! You can tell by observing his house; it is literally a mansion! At first, Noah did not feel the whole change. For example, she was leaving her boyfriend and best friend then. However, when she arrived, she met her new stepbrother, Nick. Nick is the bad boy trope through and through: rich, he rides motorcycles and sports cars, boxes, and drag races. He is the classic bad boy that caught Noah’s eye. But they do not like each other at first.

Long story short, Noah starts to explore the young adult circles in the British nightlife by going to a party. And, of course, Nick is there, partying it up with his friends, and he spots her feeling a little abnormal (a little loopy). One of Nick’s friends tried to get with Noah in her worst state, and then Nick threw his hands. Throughout the movie, we see examples of Nick’s circle and how Noah integrates herself into them. For instance, in the drag racing aspect, Noah substitutes for Nick to win against one of his enemies. She won, but this is where the drama starts. (SCARY!)

Oh Yes, There Is More!

Nick’s enemy wants to destroy him, and that’s basically it. He challenged him to a boxing match and pulled dangerous stunts to hurt him. It is such a hot mess. But let’s back up a bit. I’m overexplaining a bit; I don’t want to spoil too much. For the romantic aspect, Noah finds a text of her boyfriend kissing her best friend! Heartbroken, sorrows, sorrows, prayers.

What does Nick do? KISS HER! AHHHH! And he took a picture of it so Noah can send it to her boyfriend, like, come on! After that, their romance takes flight in private settings like a closet and maybe a pool. Okay, I will end it here because you all have to see the movie. After all, their chemistry is just off the charts!

So Nick and Noah? This Ship Set Sailed!

I did not think I would recover from Kitty and Minho from XO Kitty so quickly, but this couple did it for me! The tension between these two was apparent from the moment they graced my laptop screen. One scene that got me feeling some tingles was in Nick’s closet. Noah told him to kiss her and the way she controlled the situation. SHE IS A QUEEN!

For quick context, Noah’s boyfriend decided to come visit her in London, and he lives in the house with them. Mind you, she knows that he cheated, and she sent the photo of Nick and her kissing one another to him. But she was very bothered by his presence, so she told Nick this iconic line: Don’t hurt him, but make him leave.” LIKE HELLO!? The way he was so obedient because, in the next scene, he made sure to make the boyfriend leave. So quick, so fast. The subplot was solved in a matter of 5 minutes. That was very satisfying!

Another scene that grabbed my attention was Noah and Nick’s tense battle in a hallway. Now, the tonal shift in the scene was very seductive to the point where their lips were grazing over one another. LIKE WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? I’m surprised their parents didn’t see the chemistry from the start, especially in the hallway! The cinematography was chosen beautifully, with half of their faces glowing in a warm light. But when they got closer and started to whisper, it felt like I was interrupting a moment. In the end, Noah did get the last word, and my goodness, Nick was yearning for her BAD! I’m sorry you must watch the scene below because it was too good!

One of the Most Beautiful Scenes In The Movie

Besides the hot scenes, this moment in the film really struck me. Noah was locked inside a closet by a few of Nick’s friends as a joke, but we see how it is affecting Noah. Also, we get a few glimpses of her past that relate to her discomfort with being in an enclosed space. It had gotten to the point where she was heaving. Once Nick discovers that he can’t find Noah, he also starts to panic. But, he heard her panic cries and broke down the door. There she was with dried tears, wasting no time to hug him. This moment is lovely because Nic truly cares for Noah’s well-being. Despite the drama leading up to this moment with his enemies and friends, his primary focus was Noah. If you ask me, this was the perfect scene to solidify that their relationship is more than physical; it is very emotional.

If you want a good romance movie, this is for you! Get ready for all of the tears and emotional rollercoasters with this one!
