Growing up I have always been interested in learning about the zodiac signs. I used to look up the readings about how each month would affect my sign (All my sagittarius readers, where you at?!). I love the celestial aspect of it, but I never really got into the spiritual part of the zodiac signs. I know people who are into that, though, and I can definitely see the appeal. I have also personally never seen a lunar eclipse before, but it’s definitely on my bucket list along with seeing the northern lights and other celestial events that happen in the sky.
The lunar eclipse occurred on March 13 and or March 14 depending on where you live. It’s a cool thing to witness if you’re up early enough (and a little ominous if you ask me).
The lunar eclipse just passed, and I know there are tons of readings about how it affects the signs so why not see what those readings say?
But First Let Me Explain
To all my people who are clueless about what the lunar eclipse even is let me explain it for you.
A lunar eclipse occurs at the full moon phase. When the earth, the moon, and the sun lines up thee earth’s shadow covers the moon and turns it into a red color which is how the lunar eclipse gets its nickname “blood moon.”
There are three types: total lunar, partial lunar, and penumbral eclipse. Total lunar eclipses is when the blood red color comes out. The more dust and clouds in the air the more redder the moon appears. In the partial eclipse is just when the perfect alignment of the sun, moon, and earth is skewed and the shadow grows and then recedes without covering the moon. A penumbral eclipse is easy to miss and the moon is dimmed ever so slightly that most people don’t really see it or even realize the eclipse is even happening.
But now that we all know what the lunar eclipse is when can get to the fun part.
Its Zodiac Time!
Aries
Starting off with the first in the zodiac sign: Aries! You need to rellaaaxx. Take a deep breath. Go get your nails done. Take a walk on a nature path. Take that nap you’ve been pushing off. This is your moment to decompress and take the day to realllyyy relax for once. Self-care is the best care.
Taurus
The Bull. The one and only Venus. For Taurus, the lunar eclipse calls for you to deepen all of your relationships and make new ones. If you’ve been through a bad breakup, maybe its time to for you get back in the game. Are you currently having an argument with your partner? Try to work it out. Don’t let little stuff get in your way of finding happiness for yourself.
Gemini
Now my best friend is a Gemini so im a little biased when it comes to choosing my favorite signs to hang out with. For Gemini’s it can be easy to think big and engage yourself in doing big things and get lost in the groove of being busy. But sometimes it’s good to slow down every once in a while. Appreciate the little things you have in your life such as cooking a home-cooked meal, the calls you get from your friends and family to check on you, maybe even waking up in bed in the morning. Little things can mean a lot, so try to stop and take it all in every once in a while.
Cancer
The famous crabby cancers (see what I did there?). be careful on what you say to people. Mix signals could really harm relationships if you’re not clear on what you say. Try not to take things to heart. If you’re unsure about something let a friend or someone that you trust look over it. Clarity and being direct are (usually) the way to go.
Leo
I loovveee Leos. My grandad is a Leo and my brother is a Leo and we always have a good time together. Nothing but jokes and giggles over here. Leos you have the power to do anything that you set your mind to be. You are a lion. The Kings and queens of the pride! You have the power to get out there and make things happen. The lunar eclipse gives your motivation and the drive to be successful.
Virgo
Now Virgos it’s you time to shine! You have the charisma, the charm, the sweetness of your personality, and the aura of a goddess/god. Everyone wants to be you or be with you. You are it. You are the shit. Your time to glow up has never been brighter, so you better own it! Don’t let anybody dim your light.
Libra
Libras, you love to be around people, but you gotta take some time to focus on yourself. If you wanna just chill in your home watching the new season of YOU then go right on ahead. There’s nothing wrong with recharging your battery. Even the most energetic people need their alone time.
Scorpio
Lucky is on your side Scorpio! It’s time to take that risk. Thinking about applying for that job? Do it! Worrying about asking someone out? Do it? Always had a dream to skydiver? Do ittttttttt! There’s no time like the present. If you don’t start now you’re never going to end up doing it, so take. That. Risk.
Sagittarius
Finally, we get to the best sign ever (obviously). As a Sagittarius, we are always on the move and always striving to be successful and achieve our dreams and with the lunar eclipse that’s what it is calling for us to do. Its time to make those moves but we have to make them behind the scenes. Not everybody needs to know our plans right now, so for now we move but move silently.
Capricorn
Capricorns, the most important thing you should know is that your needs come first. YOU come first. You gotta heal in order to heal the other parts of your life. You can set aside time or take a day to indulge in a bit of self-care. Sometimes it’s hard to tell yourself you are worthy of love or happiness, but you need to realize that you are worthy. Fix the issue you have. Mend those relationships. You have been through many storms before, and you can go through one again.
Aquarius
Intimacy can seem scary for you guys, but maybe you should explore a little bit. It’s okay to be shy but make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into. Whether that’s romantic, friendly, or family relationships. If something doesn’t seem right then you have the chance to get the heck out there before it is too late
Pisces
And finally, we have pieces. This is your chance to get closer to someone you love dearly. Maybe you want to deepen your connection and love for you current partner. Love is definitely in the air for you and you want you and your partner to have that deep connection and love you crave in a relationship.
