Q: Tell us your story! Where did you begin and how did you reach the caliber you’re currently at?

A: I grew up around music with my dad being a drummer in a British invasion band. Music was always something that was around whether it was at the church, my dad’s band, or my mom blaring Shania Twain. The moment that changed it all for me was the year that Hannah Montana was released. I remember looking at the tv and turning to my mom to say “That will be me someday”. Just the fact I was featured in Rolling Stone India under new artists. If I told my 12-year-old self I wouldn’t have believed it.
Q: What makes you love what you do? How long have you been making music? Would you call it your passion?

A: I love taking my inner thoughts that aren’t so pretty and turning them into art. Music has been an outlet for me so if my music can be that for someone else, I have done my job. I started creating music when I was 12 and started taking my career more seriously around 13/14. I consider music for me as more of a career. It is a passion of mine of course, but I think sometimes you can lose passion for things.
Q: What are some accomplishments or milestones you’ve reached lately?

A: I recently hit 26k streams on “Paranoid” which is currently my highest-streamed song. I also just hit 10k on TikTok within the past month which was very exciting. I am just making sure I am making myself visible on all platforms.
Q: Tell us about “Eat Cake”!!

A: “Eat Cake” is a nice way to tie a bow for the end of this era. When I wrote the title track I took inspiration from the phrase “Let Them Eat Cake.” What you may not know is that Marie Antoinette was never quoted saying this phrase. But I wanted to research and get as much information about the phrase. I thought of a relationship where only one person is benefitting.
Q: Do you have any advice for someone who is starting out in the music industry?
View this post on Instagram
A: I would say learn from people who you look up to and watch what they are doing. Personally, I get inspired every day by phrases/sights/etc, so don’t be afraid to open your mind to creativity. Don’t listen to your own doubts because you never know what could stick. Most importantly be yourself and never let anyone conform your artistic style.
Q: What do you want our readers to know about you and your music?
View this post on Instagram
A: My music is a look into my diary and every emotion that I have felt. I want to be able to heal people with my music, just like the way music heals me.
