Snack Your Way Into 2023 With These New Years Eve Party Recipes

Hosting a New Year’s party this year? Yeah, I guess you could put out a few bowls of chips and dip, and pop some popcorn… but it’s New Year’s Eve! Don’t you want something more festive? I know I do! So, I’ve made us a list of New Year’s snacks that are merry, cheery, jolly and perfect for the midnight ball drop!
Sparkly New Year’s Pretzel Sticks
Nothing says New Year’s Eve like sparkles do! These are so simple and so elegant! Skip having a bowl of boring pretzels for these bad boys!
Pepper Jelly Meatballs
I don’t know about you, but something about New Year’s Eve feels so elegant and rich! Just like these pepper jelly-glazed meatballs! There’s also something to be said about trying out something brand new for the NEW year!
Jalapeno Popper Dip
Once again, the entire point of this article is to switch out the old classic party snacks and to swap them with something fresh and exciting! That’s exactly what this jalapeno popper dip is all about! This dip is fresh for your taste buds and might become a new party classic. Bye bye onion and ranch dip!
New Year’s Popcorn
ust like the pretzels, a little icing and glittery sprinkles can take a boring party snack and make it pop! This popcorn looks so cute and photogenic (hello, Instagram!) but it also looks delicious! I love to drizzle chocolate on salty popcorn, so this is a favorite for me!
NYE Charcuterie
I’m beyond obsessed with this NYE-themed charcuterie board. The use of the star-shaped bowls, star-shaped cheese slices, disco ball decor and clock, and sprinkled cookies really make this a cheese board to remember! I can’t wait to recreate this! Looking for more high protein healthy snacks? Serenity Kids has some awesome options to try, especially if you’ll have little ones at your party.
Champagne Grapes
What in the world would be a better party snack than frozen grapes marinated in champagne? You can use these as ice cubes in your drinks, or pop into your mouth as a fun frozen appetizer! This is a perfect way to include a classic NYE staple like champagne into your snack menu!
NYE Puppy Chow
Puppy chow is one of my favorite party snacks because it’s really fun and isn’t so basic. Add in some gold sparkles and some melted peanut butter chocolate and you have yourself a themed puppy chow!
Churro Chex Mix
Do you know what sparkles? Cinnamon! This churro Chex mix is sparkly and gold like any NYE snack should be, but it also replaces boring Chex mixes. It is filled with fun cinnamon snacks like cinnamon toast crunch cereal, cinnamon Chex and pretzels.
S’More Pops
Having a bonfire but don’t want to deal with the mess? Make these awesome s’more pops that you can eat as is, or can stick into the fire. These are so easy to make and can bring those campfire vibes to anywhere you are, whether you’re in the woods or in the big city.
Cheesy Puff Pastry Stars
These awesome puff pastry stars will bring the New year theme in but in a really unique and tasty way. I’m really excited about trying these because they look crispy and delicious!
Caprese Skewers
Start the new year off right with a snack that tastes a little more healthy than the others on this list. Also, something about Caprese screams sophistication to me! These are super simple to make but will bring a level of fancy to your NYE party.
