Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, which means the coveted Galentine’s Day parties are too. Whether you’re planning a brunch or dinner party for you and your besties, we’ve got you covered with some fantastic recipes for the season of love. Here are 11 Galentine recipes that are sure to spice up your get-togethers.
Savory
Heart-Shaped Pizza
Pizza is one of the meals you can’t go wrong with, especially on Valentine’s Day. While numerous pizza chains have heart-shaped pies on their menu, it would be a fun activity for you and your besties to make your own pizzas.
Heart-Shaped Caprese
Not only is this recipe refreshing, but it is also healthy! Caprese is a dish I fell in love with while I was in the UK this summer, so seeing this recipe made me so happy. This simple take on a Caprese salad is not only
Mozzarella Cheese Filled Hearts
Who doesn’t love a mozzarella stick? I know I do! These mozzarella cheese-filled hearts are the perfect addition to your Galentine recipes lineup as an appetizer. The flaky pie crust followed by the pull of the mozzarella is something I’m already excited to try!
Sweet Treats
Pink Hershey kiss cookies
I have made the peanut butter version of these in the past and absolutely loved them. While this version doesn’t have peanut butter, the pink coloring is a nice swap for Valentine’s Day and is sure to get a few compliments. I would say a regular Hershey’s kiss would be great on top or for some flare you could easily add a filled one or the Hershey’s hearts.
Heart-Shaped baked doughnuts
These baked doughnuts were too cute to not be included on this list, plus they’re extremely easy to make. I’ve tried my hand at making doughnuts in the past, but I’ve never thought of baking them. What’s nice is that you can use a heart-shaped doughnut pan or a round one and the result will still be the same: Delicious doughnuts in 10 minutes.
Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
You can’t go wrong with this Valentine’s Day classic. Who doesn’t love a good chocolate-covered strawberry? You can easily spice up this recipe by purchasing colored candy melts or by adding some festive sprinkles. They’re easy and portable, which is why they make the perfect sweet treat.
Brunch
Heart-Shaped Waffles
Let me start by giving a quick shoutout to Target because their mini heart-shaped waffle makers just made this recipe so much easier and less time-consuming. These waffles are not only perfect for snacking on during brunch, but you can also incorporate them into dessert by dipping them in chocolate. It is the best of both worlds!
Strawberries and Cream Sweet Rolls
This recipe definitely blows your classic cinnamon roll out of the water. The process is almost identical to that of making cinnamon rolls, except the filling consists of cream cheese, strawberry jam and fresh strawberries. It’s a bonus that they look aesthetically pleasing and totally on theme for Valentine’s Day. How can it get any better than that?
Vegan Strawberry Cream Danish
The second I saw this recipe on TikTok I knew it would go on my Galentine’s Day menu. I am a very big fan of strawberries, especially when they are in a pastry. Not only is this the result of this recipe adorable, but it is also the perfect addition for brunch or dessert.
Drinks
Cotton Candy Champagne
You can’t go wrong with a festive cocktail! This cotton candy champagne is the cutest, especially with the sprinkle rim and cotton candy addition. Also, who can say no to a good bottle of rosé?
Sweetheart Punch (non-alcoholic)
If you’re looking for a good Galentines mocktail, this is it. This recipe is easy to make and is a great cocktail substitute. Plus, its pink hue from the sherbert and raspberry lemonade keeps with the festiveness of the day.
