One of the best post-Halloween activities (other than eating all the candy) is going through online photos and seeing everyone’s costumes! It’s so cool to see how creative people can be and how far they’re willing to go to pull off their look, but it’s safe to say that celebrities tend to take the holiday to a whole other level. It can never hurt to have extra funding or your own glam team! Since many of the Halloween festivities are over, we figured we’d reminisce a little bit and go through the best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2023.

It’s so cool to see how creative people can be and how far they’re willing to go to pull off their look, but it’s safe to say that celebrities tend to take the holiday to a whole other level. It can never hurt to have extra funding or your own glam team! Since many of the Halloween festivities are over, we figured we’d reminisce a little bit and go through the best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2023.
Heidi Klum
Who better to start with than the queen of Halloween herself? Heidi Klum is notorious for her annual Halloween parties and her all-out costumes that somehow get better with each passing year. She went viral last year as a worm, a costume which made her completely unrecognizable. This year, she was a peacock. What’s so cool about this costume is that it incorporates multiple people! While Heidi was the body of the peacock, a group of people arranged themselves behind her to act as the tail feathers. What made the look even better was her husband, who dressed up as an egg.
Keke Palmer
Whoever makes an entire mini film based around their costume deserves a spot on this list! Keke Palmer posted a tiktok of her bride-of-Frankenstein costume a couple days before Halloween. The video is complete with spooky filters and audio effects, but what really sold the performance was the involvement of her 9 month old son, Leo, who looked just like a mini Dr. Frankenstein with his goggles and lab coat!
Bad Bunny
Looks like someone read our Shrek rave outfits article! Bad Bunny may not have gone all out like some of the other celebrities on this list (and it might’ve been for SNL), but we’d argue that painting yourself entirely green is a very big commitment. The artist kept things simple with a lengthy white shirt paired with Shrek’s brown vest. He also sported a bald cap (painted green, of course) that sprouted Shrek’s iconic ogre ears.
Adele
Ever the multi-tasker, Adele revealed her costume in one of her weekly concert posts on Instagram. A dark dress, a long black wig and some sharp eyeliner made the singer the perfect Morticia Addams. Fans loved it so much that they already started planning Adele’s (theoretical) new role in an Addams Family reboot.
Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker
These two took couples costumes to the next level when they dressed up as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz from the Tim Burton film. Travis was almost unrecognizable with his purple eye makeup, white face paint and wild wig, while Kourtney channeled Winona Ryder with her bright red wedding dress, veil and rose bouquet. She even teased her hair into an updo that perfectly matches Lydia’s from the movie.
Alix Earle
This tiktok star and podcast host actually attended Heidi Klum’s Halloween party this year. In our opinion, this costume blows everyone else out of the water. Alex dressed up as the White Witch from the Narnia movies. Her icy white dress and furry cape matched the costume from the film almost exactly and her hair was done in the same way as Tilda Swinton’s was in the film – including the crown made of icicles. My personal favorite part of the costume was the magic scepter she carried. It looked identical to the movie!
