When I first started to work at Lush, it was important that all sales associates memorize the names, scents, and even pricing for the dozens of bath bombs that our store sold. Most of the products don’t have bar codes to scan, so my memory was tested as I studied every one of them within a week. But I also learned during my training period which bath bombs my coworkers considered the best and most popular to get as gifts. I’ve compiled a “Lush Bath Bomb Review” of what I believe to be the best yearly and seasonal bath bombs to buy for this upcoming Valentine’s Day. With this list, I’ll describe the scent, any benefits the bath bomb may provide, and a fun fact about each one!

Tisty Tosty

A gentler bath bomb with a subtler scent, Tisty Tosty is a great yearly gift to grab for someone who enjoys floral-scented products. This heart-shaped bath bomb contains rose oil for a soothing effect while geranium revives. This bath bomb is one of the few that contains flower petals in it!

Intergalactic

Intergalactic is one of Lush’s newer bath bomb products, but it’s already a big hit among fans. Using peppermint oil to cool the skin and cedarwood to relax, this bath bomb will make you feel as if you’re drifting among the stars. The glitter used in this bath bomb- and all other Lush products- is plastic-free, meaning you won’t have to worry about harming the environment.

Avobath

Avobath is a great way to reenergize yourself, using a combination of lemongrass and bergamot oil to give you an extra boost of energy! The combination of natural avocado and fresh oil olive helps moisturize your skin, making you feel brand new. If you love the scent but aren’t much of a bath person, the Avobath scent also comes in a candle.

Twilight

Twilight is great for those days when you just want a good night’s rest. Using lavender to relax and Tonka water to soothe, this bath bomb is great to help ease anxiety and help drift off to sleep. The best part about the Twilight scent is that it comes in multiple products, like candles and body sprays!

Black Rose

One of my personal favorites of the bath bombs, Black Rose is a blend of rose oil and lemon oil, balancing out the floral scent and achieving a calming and uplifting feeling. The colors also look great in the bath, swirling purples and deep blues. This bath bomb goes well with Rose Jam, a type of bath bomb called a bubbleroon, as well as the other Rose Jam products.

Peachy

Just like the name suggests, Peachy is scented just like a peach, using real peach juice to scent the product! While the peach juice refreshes, the grapefruit oil stimulates, while a little Davana oil adds some fragrance. Just like Black Rose, there’s a matching bubbleroon called the Peach Crumble.

Flower Bombshell

This floral-citrus scent is a sweet rose, a bit sweeter than the other bath bombs. This product uplifts and comforts, using a mix of lemon oil and rose to create a great accompaniment to other products like Black Rose or Lush’s show gel, Rose Jam. This is another product that has flower petals in it, which reveal themselves once the bath bomb dissolves!

Big Squeeze

The Big Squeeze is unique in its mix of citrus, jasmine, ylang-ylang oil, and seaweed! While ylang-ylang helps ease your mood and orange cleanses your mind, seaweed (or agar as it’s scientifically known) is used to soften your skin. This floral Valentine’s Day bath bomb is sure to clear your mood!

Love Letter

This love letter is packed with a strawberry scent! For those who enjoy fruit-scented products, the strawberry in this bath bomb is complimented with bergamot oil and geranium. Coconut milk and cocoa butter are mixed in to help soften skin and moisturize. This love letter is a very popular seasonal product, so get it while you can!

Love Bug

This mix of lemon, orange, and rose oil combines to make a tartly sweet scent, reminiscent of fruit sorbet. This bath bomb is great for those who enjoy a citrus-floral scent and want to reenergize! This psychedelic bath product has been brought back from last year due to exceptional popularity.
