Crocs are currently going through a renaissance. Everywhere I turn, I see someone wearing some type of Crocs. I’ll go to the gym, there will be someone running on the treadmill in Crocs. I’ll go to the store, and the person helping me is wearing a pair. Even my mom has been bitten by the bug; she has at least two pairs. I’m not hating on her. I have around five pairs myself.

Why are they getting so popular? Well, for starters, they’re comfortable. I feel like my feet have enough room to wiggle around. Secondly, Crocs will collaborate with damn near every and any brand. There’s a new Wednesday Addams collab on the horizon, as well as a current McDonald’s Happy Meal collab. When I recently visited the store, I saw so many other types of Crocs, such as Hello Kitty, Toy Story, and even Spongebob. And lastly, Crocs has upped their game— there are so many colors and styles to choose from.

So, even though ballet flats may be all the rage this fall, I see Crocs continuing their reign, at least in my house. If you’re stuck on how to style Crocs, keep reading. You’re getting advice from a true fanatic.

Classic Stomp Clog and Classic Crush Clog

I absolutely love these Crocs. It combines the timelessness of the original classics, but adding a twist by having the platforms. The Stomps and the Crushes are pretty similar, they just have slightly different soles. It all depends on what you prefer.

I literally saw like 6 girls on the train wearing these. Ive never been a croc wearer but these are honestly so cute @Crocs #sandyliang #seoul #crocs #southkorea #ootd

Because these two styles are the classic Crocs on stilts, you can very easily dress these up or down. As it’s becoming fall, these would look great with baggy jeans. Or, if you’re feeling fancy, with a long dress or skirt. I have also seen people wear these platforms with slightly oversized slacks, if you feel like giving office siren.

I like to pretend that it is summer for as long as possible, so pairing Stomps or Crushes with legwarmers is such a cute look. It’s also a great way to stay somewhat warm when you have around 80% of your legs exposed!

I also am someone who loves color and statement pieces. These clogs come in an assortment of colors and even have their own variations. There is the Super Crush, which is even taller than the regular Crush. The soles on these are similar to Nike Air Max. So, if you want even more of a boost, these are the way to go. I am currently liking the Keith Haring collaboration.

Flats

Ok, I know I made a slight dig towards ballet flats in the beginning, but, I do like them! And guess what? Crocs makes them too, with the Brooklyn Flat. I tried them on in the store and they were super roomy—I haven’t found many other flats that do not bunch all my toes together.

@Crocs the Brooklyn pointed flats are my new everyday staple 🤍#CrocsBrooklynflat #newatcrocs #crocs #grwm #getdressedwithme

The Brooklyn Flat is perfect for the office this fall. It goes great with any business casual look. I like seeing them with button ups and jeans. I can also see these with a nice, long, brown wool coat. Or, a cool patterned blazer if you would like to add a bit of flair to your outfit. These will be a must have if you love flats.

Unfortunately, this current iteration of flats do not allow for you to add charms (officially known as Jibbitz) to them. In the past, Crocs made ballet flats that allowed for it.

I am obsessed with the Siren Clogs, they are proper heels that give enough support and don’t make the balls of my feet scream for help.

Now, I know it is no longer summer up here in the Northern Hemisphere (shout out to Australia), but I am still going to rock a mini skirt when I go out. The Siren Clogs are perfect for this, especially if you use my past tip and pair them with leg warmers.

These are also perfect with oversized or baggy jeans as well. The height will prevent you from having your pants dragging on the ground. However, I do see these as more dressy than the Stomp Clog or Crush Clog, so I would pair the pants with a nicer blouse or button up. That way, you can still look casual but put together.

Boots

Yes, Crocs even makes full fledged boots now. I currently have my eyes on the Classic Boot and the Neo Puff Luxe Boot. I think that these are completely out of the box for Crocs, and I love that they are expanding and taking more risks.

I honestly see these boots as more masculine; they are clearly inspired by Yeezy. I really like to see these with more unisex, androgynous looks. So, once again, oversized, baggy outfits pair very well with these. Cargo pants pair well with both boots.

Also, the Classic Boot and the Neo Puff Luxe Boot are perfect for winter. Pair them up with fur jackets or fur ear warmers. I also love the look of the Puff Luxe with actual snow pants— perfect for hitting the slopes.

Jibbitz

Jibbitz are my favorite part of owning Crocs. Jibbitz is the official name for those little charms you stick in the holes of the shoes. I love them because they add another layer of personalization to the shoes.

I personally throw any and everything on my Crocs. On one pair of Crocs, I have a random assortment, as you can see. I have Hello Kitty, Spongebob, Lilo & Stitch, and my two favorite sodas, just to name a few. On another pair that I have, I have New York themed Jibbitz. There’s a bagel with cream cheese, a takeout bag, a taxi cab, and the Statue of Liberty, among others. I mainly use them to convey my hobbies and interests and to play with my inner child.

However, you can use Jibbitz to enhance the Crocs that you have. I love the look of the pink Siren Clog with the pink bow. I also love the metallic ones. There are chains that you can get for Crocs, and they add a cool, edgier look to them.
